Our story

From an electrician in Brazil to finish carpentry in the Naugatuck Valley.

Juliano started out as an electrician in Brazil. In Connecticut he spent 5 years on construction crews, framing, hanging drywall, setting cabinets and running trim in houses across the state.

Somewhere in those years he noticed the part of the job homeowners actually judge: the trim. Nobody walks into a finished room and looks at the framing. They see whether the baseboard meets tight in the corner, whether the door casing is even all the way around, whether the cabinet doors line up. That is where he decided to put his name.

So he bought a van, saved up and opened Santos General Contractors. Today he does finish carpentry and the remodeling around it: cabinets, kitchens, basements, bathrooms, tile, floors and the demolition that comes first. On bigger jobs, framing and painting go to trade partners he trusts, and anything electrical or plumbing goes to those trades. You still have one person to text.
