For most families, yes. It handles water in kitchens and bathrooms, it holds up to pets and it is comfortable underfoot. In a basement it is our first recommendation.
Can you install over my existing floor?
Sometimes, if the old floor is flat, well attached and not too thick for the doors. More often it is better to take it out. We check at the estimate.
Do I need to move my furniture?
Tell us at the estimate. We can move the regular furniture in the rooms we are working in. Pianos, safes and full china cabinets are better left to movers.
How long does it take?
A living room, kitchen and two bedrooms took us two and a half days on a recent job. Your timeline depends on the square footage and the subfloor, and you get it in writing.
